About Us

Countryside began with a group of parents in Texas trying to plan the future of their adult children living with
autism. One of the first things they learned is that there are very few options available to them, especially in
Texas. After much research they discovered that there are many successful models in other states based in
rural settings. This model offers a holistic and healthy environment where each individual is recognized for
their unique qualities and actively encouraged to reach their full potential.

They formed a non-profit organization to provide services for adults with autism in a rural setting in beautiful
Fayette County, Texas. Countryside will provide vocational based instruction to promote independence and
free choice for each individual. The programs will be offered as long-term residential as well as on-the-job
training on a rotational basis.
